It’s been a long time since I’ve sent a newsletter. I’ve almost forgotten how. Since it’s been so long, I’ll try to keep this short.

Recent Happenings

Here’s a quick bullet list of everything that happened in 2022:

Took on too much client work (2022)
Worked way more hours than healthy at my EVS job with HCSG (Jan-Mar)
Left my EVS job with HCSG (Mar)
Started full-time job as Activities Director with Logan Health (Apr)
Got my Montana certification as Activities Director (Jun)
Oldest joined swim team (Jun)
Youngest joined soccer team (Aug)
Started studying both free and paid courses for data analysis (Oct)
Monster Munchkins signed up for 4H and archery (Oct)
Our heater died and we’ve been struggling to get it fixed (Sep)
It got so cold here our pipes have frozen multiple times (Nov)
Started my current part-time job as EVS with Logan Health (Dec)

My husband is still working part-time as a housekeeper at one of the local hotels although he may end up switching to EVS at Logan Health too. There’s a couple things still up in the air about that.

As for writing and reading, here’s a fun graphic to show you what all I accomplished there. It’s more than I originally thought, but still not what I wanted in the long run. Considering all that happened this year, I’m not complaining honestly.

So what are my plans going forward?

I’ve detailed everything above and much more in the first of a new series of YouTube videos I plan to do each month, talking about what I’ve accomplished for the month and what I have planned going forward. I also flip through the planners I’m using and what they look like so far.

In short, I'm planning in quarters rather than years, and for 2023 Q1, I want to accomplish the following:

Finish the course I’m taking for data analysis
Start job hunting for a remote data analysis job
Edit 20,000 words of Damned and Deadly, the third book in the Damned and Dangerous Quartet
Write 20,000 words of Damned and Demonic, the fourth book in the Damned and Dangerous Quartet

In the next few months, I’ll have more information about what I’m doing to re-brand and re-publish the Damned and Dangerous Quartet under a new series name. I want to finish both book three and four before I worry about that too much though.

In the meantime, you can still purchase the first two books in the series. When they’re re-branded, not much about their content will be changing.
