Projects!

Progress is being made on at least one of my two projects in my 90-day Write War. It’s slow, but at least it’s moving forward. I probably won’t make my original deadline though, and that’s OK. I’m learning a lot about myself along the way.

A Modernism of Magic

One of the two projects I’m concentrating on for the 90-day writing challenge. The first story is off to my editor. I haven’t been working on it much though, so maybe this is the kick in the pants I need in order to start getting work done on it.

This work is a contemporary fantasy that follows the lives of various paranormal races as they go about their day-to-day lives in a world where magic is known and actively accepted… for the most part.

DAMNED AND DANGEROUS QUARTET

The second project for the Write War, I haven’t been working on it at all since I last updated you.

This will be my main project for Q4, and I’m actually really excited to be returning to this world. I have a lot of notes on the main plot of this story that I think will make it great!

There is a lot of changes being made to this series as a whole (not on the story, but just how I’m marketing them) and I’m excited for what’s to come. I’d like to start making those changes on the first two books before I dive into this one though, so it may effect when I start working on this one honestly.

Cowboys and Dragons

This was the short story that was originally going to be in the Quarantined With Anthology, but with the publishing company closing, I got full rights back to the story.
